According to O.P.P., an officer conducting speed enforcement on the highway noticed the car approaching in the eastbound fast lane at a high rate of speed.
The officer observed a speed of 170 km/h in a posted 100 km/h zone.
Saeed Davish, 21, of Ottawa, has been charged with speeding and stunt driving, which carries with it an automatic seizure of the vehicle and driver’s licence for seven days.

Police stopped the vehicle on Iris St. after witnesses reported seeing the truck weaving across lanes of Hwy 417 near Eagleson Rd. around 9:30 p.m. Friday.
Trevor Howard, 41, of Ottawa,
faces a slew of charges, including driving while impaired, driving with an open container of liquor, consuming alcohol while driving, driving while suspended, and possession of a substance believed to be marijuana.
He is to appear in court April 13.
